Retrieving folders from Outlook on another hard drive

I just upgraded my hardware on my computer with pretty much everything being
brand new (motherboard, CPU, video card, power supply, etc.). Prior to the
upgrade I would occasionally archive my mail folders to a different hard
drive (since my original system before the upgrade had 2 hard drives). If I
were smart I would have archived again immediately before the hardware
upgrade,
but I was not smart. I tried a different route and now I am stuck. The
upgrade included leaving in place my two original hard drives with the old C
Drive being my main drive and the old D drive being my backup data drive
(which
is where I archived my Outlook folders and exported my Contact list). I
tried to boot up on the original OLD C Drive since it had XP on it, but it
would not boot on it. I then added a 3rd (NEW) hard drive and it became my
new primary drive (my NEW C Drive). After the upgrade I assumed that I would
be able to launch Outlook from my old C Drive, but that does not happen. It
will
not open. I went ahead and installed Outlook on my NEW C Drive and
successfully put my archive folders (from my OLD D Drive) onto it and mapped
them via Outlook. So now I can get to the archive folders within OUtlook, but
the problem is that since I did not archive again immediately prior to the
upgrade I still have mail in the INBOX and SENT mail folders in my old
Outlook that I did not archive and are subsequently in limbo somewhere. I
tried using the Import/Export wizard to retrieve them from my OLD C Drive to
no avail. I
assumed they were .pst files, but cannot locate them even with a search. I
know these folders are on my OLD C Drive, but am at a loss as to how to
retrieve them and import them into the Outlook on my NEW C Drive.
Any suggestions?

No, you'll need to reinstall it. Much of the information any program from
Microsoft uses is stored in the Registry and only installing a program
recreates the proper Registry keys.

Your old PST is probably in a hidden folder on your old drive Enable
viewing hidden files and folders (Control Panel>Appearance and Themes>Folder
Options>View tab. Select the "Show hidden files and folders" radio button).
Then look in D:\Documents and Settings\{your old user}\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. Your old PST will probably be
there. You can use Outlook to open it there (File>Open>Outlook Data File,
browse to it, select it, click OK) or move it somewhere on your current C
drive. DON'T overwrite any PST with the same name if you do. DON'T import!
