retrieving smtp address.

Hi,

I am using vbscript to programmatically retrieve email
addresses from outlook address book (not the global
address book).
What I am getting is in X400 format -
item.Email1AddressType always returns "EX" and
item.Email1Address returns an address in X400 format.
Is there any way to get addresses in SMTP format?
