return row and column numbers

Hi there,

I want to be able to select a cell, then press the hotkeys to start a
macro and reference the cells around the cell I have selected. How do i
do this?

Do I need functions that will return the row and column numbers of the
cell I have selected?

Perhaps you should be asking this in an Excel newsgroup instead of an
Outlook group?
