Return to Outlook after delete

When I am in my Outlook 2007 inbox and delete or move an email, I either
retun to my open browser or the desktop, not back to my mail box. I then
have to navigate back to Outlook and open the mail box again. Surely there is
a way to return to my email without this detour. Thanks for your help.

Are you saying that Outlook shuts down and you have to double-click on the
shortcut to open the application again, or it's minimized and you have to
click on the task bar to bring it back up?

Thanks, yes, it minimizes in the taskbar and I have to click it open again.
Ideally, of course, I would want to return to my inbox pane and continue with
the rest of my mail. I would greatly appreciate your reply. ilseruns
