Is there anyway to put Finish1 in the Gantt chart view? i need a field which
can be displayed there and can have a symbol associated with it. For
example, right now i have a star where Finish1 is, but i can't get it to show
up in the info field part of the Gantt. If i use Late Start then it seems to
change my scheduling a bit.

thanks
scott

To display on the left side of the Gantt (the data side): insert/column...
select Finish1, click OK.

To display on the right side of the Gannt (the graphic side): Format/Bar
Styles, scroll down to a free row and give it a name, say Finish1. In the
bar formatting at the bottom of the window, select a starting symbol, type
and color. Leave the others blank.

In the "Show For...Task" column, you will probably want "Normal" but you can
also aadd others such as critical, let the row number show the default (1),
set From and To both equal to "Finish1". Click OK.

When you enter a task, if a date is populated in the Finish1 column, your
symbol will show. It is not necesary to show the Finish1 column on the left,
I just told you to put it in so you would have someplace to enter the data.
