reverse formulas

We have Excell 2000. When we saved file all formulas stop
working and look like characters. For some reason we can
reverse. The file is shared by 3 users. Any ideas how to
fix.

Might need to see a sample formula.

1. Have you got Tools/Options/View ... Formulas *unchecked* ?

2. Possibly, but unlikely, column has become formatted as text
Reformat the columns as number format or general.
Select 1 column at a time and use Data menu/Text to columns .. Finish.

Maybe the formulas are displayed, instead of the results. To change this
setting:

Choose Tools>Options
Select the View tab
Remove the check mark from 'Formulas'
Click OK
