reverse slide

Hi,
I have a small student presentation that moves from slide to slide with a
click of the mouse. How can I adjust it so if the student wishes to return
to a prior slide to review it, he/she can do so?
Thank you.

Either just use left arrow key or insert an action button from the slide
show menu. Choose the one with a left arrow and a click on it will take you
to the previous slide.

Ken,
You could add an action button. View - master - slide master, on the Drawing
toolbar click on AutoShapes, choose action buttons, select the "next button"
(second row second icon). Now draw the button, preferably in a corner by
dragging the mouse, release, on the dialog click OK. That will put a button
on each slide allowing you to go back at will.
If you want to disable all clicks or for that matter all keyboard actions,
go to Slide show, set-up show, choose browse by kiosk. In that case also
provide a button to go forward.

Ken,
select the "next button" (second row second icon)
That should be previous of course - second row first button. What was I
thinking of?
Like John suggested you could also use the arrow key or PgUp, but that would
entail hitting the key several times if custom animations were applied.

Thank you both very much for the help. Luc, the step by step directions were
GREAT.
However, I put the arrows too high on the slides (don't forget it was my
first try ;" ) and can't figure out how to delete or move them. The delete
key does nothing.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

You will need to go to master slide view to delete or move them.

The buttons are on the master NOT on each slide
