Reviewer initials in Word comments

I'm aware that the "reviewer" name for existing comments in a Word
document can be changed by replacing the name with a new name via
Tools > Macro > Microsoft Script Editor.

However, using this procedure I am unable to replace the comment tags.

When I try and replace them manually in the Microsoft Script Editor by
replacing "[Initials1" with "[Initials2", Microsoft Script Editor
appears to implement the changes, but in the updated Word documents the
comments still show the old tags.

Am I missing something?

I forgot to mention that I use Word 2000.
