Ribbon menu size adjustment. It is too large.

The "ribbon" menu in Office 2007 seems too large.. it is distracting. Is
there a way to resize the icons and text on the ribbon ?

I don't think this is what you're looking for, but maybe it will help until
someone more knowledgeable comes along. If you right-click in the ribbon
area, you can select Minimize the Ribbon. That gets rid of all the actual
"ribbon" part of the ribbon and leaves just the main tabs. Selecting the
tabs brings the ribbon back temporarily. Ditto for hitting an ALT-letter
combo for a particular tab.

Thanks to David
I am aware of the "minimize" option... There is also the option of changing
font sizes in the operating system, but there is a trade-off in that some
other programs are affected. I think MS Ofice should have a "re-size" option
for the cost !
Thanks again for your response

Minimizing is the only option. Nothing else is possible.
