Rid of Icons on lower left hand corner

Hi

On the bottom of powerpoint 2003's window it has three icons. One is a
projector screen, one has four squares, and one has three squares. Does
anybody know how to make these not show up?

Those are the buttons for the view options. I don't know of any way to get
rid of them. Why would you do so? They save a lot of mouse clicks.

Those are an integral part of the interface. I don't know of any user option
to take them out. Can you share why??...........TD
