right indent problems

I would appreciate your help! I set the indent to say marker "5" and then, the text wraps at "5.75". It won't wrap at the "5". If I go into print preview or print the page, it looks fine. I have tried renaming the file "normal.dot" several times and nothing changes. I have removed "Office XP" and reloaded it and it doesn't help

Any ideas? Thanks.

Can you back up and describe a bit better what you're seeing and what you're
trying to accomplish? Keep in mind that the markings on the ruler are
measured from the left margin, not from the left edge of the page.
