Hellow everyone,

Little question:

When I rightclick on Worddocument on my desktop and select print my Word opens and gives an errormsg (see below).
I do not have this when trying to print any other document so it must be Word-related. Anyone has any ideas?

Errormsg is: "Cannot find the file 'c:\Documents and Settings\TCD\Desktop\test.doc' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.

thank you for your feedback.

Sorry but your logic is fundamentally flawed. If it is only this one
document that errors whilst other documents work fine, then it must be
related to that document.

BTW, is this just a shortcut on your desktop or have you saved the document
to your desktop?

Hmmzz wrong choice of words....

Wel I've saved the document on my desktop (it's not a shortcut) and with other documents I mean bitmaps, Excel-files, textfiles.txt, etc....

Hopefully providing you now the adequate details :)

Thank you for trying to assist me.

I was going to say that the desktop is the worst place possible to save a
file. If the desktop crashes and recovers - a not infrequent event in
Windows since the introduction of Active Desktop, it may explain why the
document has become corrupt.

Are you able to open the file for editing in Word? If so, try opening it,
copy all except the final paragraph mark and paste into a new blank document
and save it: (Ctrl+End, Ctrl+Shft+Home, Ctrl+C, open the new blank and
Ctrl+V).
