Risk+ runs slow on MSP 2007

I recently ran a Schedule Risk Assessment using Risk+ on MSP 2007.
The run took far longer than the same run on MSP2003. I am using Risk
+ 2.0. The file was 4000 lines but only 400 were incomplete. The MSP
2003 run took less than 10 minutes. The same run on MSP 2007 took 1
hour and 15 minutes. These runs were on the same computer and used
the same file. Any ideas?

Try removing any customized fields, especially ones with formulas. These
drastically slows down Risk runs.

Also, clear out any columns that R+ will use during and after the run.
Field noted in your settings.

If you can, close all applications running. Risk plus can get flaky when it
has to share processor time with another application.

Note: I alway rename the risk run file as Risk File etc. so that I never
use it again as a program file. Risk sometimes does not put everything back
as it was at start.

Hope this helps.
