Role of Flags

Dear All,

Please provide a thorough detail about the role of flags in the Microsoft
Outlook application. I mean why they are used, what they show and as they
exist in different colours so what is their colourwise importance etc.

Actually, flags are used for whatever *you* want them to be used for, but
at their heart, they are for flagging messages. Why they exist in different
colors so that, you know, you can have different meanings for each color.
Orange Flags mean - Action Item, Purple Flags mean - Info only. Or maybe
Orange Flags mean - Sports and Purple mean - Food.

Is this for a test or something?
