Rolling back from Office 2003 RC1 to office 2000

I an attempt to persuade a client to move to Office 2003, we installed
the RC1 version. They decided to return to the previous version on the
pc: 2000 Professional, so we uninstalled 2003 RC1 and re-installed 2000.
Outlook now hangs on exit, and we have to use the task manager to close
it. PC is running XP pro. Thanks.

Um, there is no Office 2003 RC-1 except for Beta code. Is this the issue?
And why did you install beta code on a production machine???

Yes, Beta.

Don't ask about the production machine issue - against my
recommendations, and not my decision. I'm just trying to pick up the peices.
