rollover effects??

Jake

Now that I figured out how to hyperlink without the text looking like a tacky
hyperlink (by using a transparent rectangle over the text), I need to figure
out how to create a rollover effect. For example, when I rollover the text
or rectangle, I want the forecolor of the text to change to a different
color.

Any pointers?

Thanks,
Jake

Unfortunately, a mouse over can't be used to trigger an animation. It can
be used to run something from "Action Settings." This includes
hyperlinking to another slide (link to an identical slide with just the
forecolor of the text object changed) and running VBA (a VBA script can
change the forecolor of a text object).

If you put your text in autoshapes you can get a 'highlight' effect on a
mouseover. This works best if you use a colour other than black for the text
as the highlight is black. Select the autoshape, right-click and select
action settings, then mouseover. The option to highlight is at the bottom.
Hope this is useful.

As David hinted you need to do a hyperlink to a duplicate slide. The
duplicate needs to have the text a different colour and also another shape
behind the shape used to hyperlink and a little larger. Set a mouse over on
this shape to return to the original slide.

So mouseover first tranparent box>>> hyperlink to second slide >> mouse
moves off shape onto new box >>> hyperlink back
