Rotate an object while in animation 90 degree

I wanted to rotate a block while in animation by certain degrees. But I can't
do that using custom animation. Although I can use spin, but that is not what
I want.

Have you read a previous posting just a few threads lower under the subject
Rotate object in animation, from Atif?
Maybe that will help.

Click Add Effect > Emphasis > Spin. Then modify the Amount:" 360 degree
Clockwise" to "90 degree Clockwise". Is that what you want?
