Rotate object in animation

A

Atif

Hi,

I want to rotate an object 180 degrees in an motion animation scheme. Does
anyone know how to to this?

Either a move and then a rotation, or rotating the object while it is
moving. But in the end i want the object moved and upside down.

Thanks,
Atif

Atif,
If you are using PPT 2002 or above make use of the Emphasis:Spin effect to
get the desired rotation on the shape.

To move the object, add Motion path (Left or other direction), then add
Emphasis (Spin). Set it to 180 degree, and modify the Start:"On click" to
"With previous".
Adjust the speed to your own preference.

How to do this depends on your version of PowerPoint.

If you have PowerPoint 2002 or 2003, than just assign 2 separate animations
to the object: a custom motion path and a spin emphasis. The motion path
can move it where you want using a custom drawn line path, and the spin
emphasis can rotate an object in either direction any number of degrees you
need. Both can be started at the same time by changing the start animation
to 'with previous' on the second animation.

If you are using a prior version of PowerPoint, the effect can be faked, but
it is much more difficult.
