rotating a document

I have been trying to set my microsoft word to be able to rotate m
document but it will not allow me too. What can I be doing wrong

If you are trying to create a landscape document (one that is wider than it
is tall), you must check this setting on the Margins tab of File | Page
Setup. It will not appear rotated on your screen but will print rotated.
