rotating text

I am unable to free rotate text or objects in Word. I am
new to this and unaware of how to activate the free
rotate icon.Is this possible?Also how do I access the
grayed out options?

Hi William,

There is no "free rotate" ability in Word. In a table of a text box, you
can rotate by plus or minus ninety degrees. That's it.
