Rotating Text?

I'm using MS Word XP and i have some text in text boxes but i need to rotate teh boxes so that they are rotated 90 degress to the left. I've tried typing into the shapes but it doesn't work. the shapes will rotate but I can't type. thanks.

Use the WordArt toolbar, and select verticle text.
