Rouding at thousands

Noepie

Hello,

I have the following issue. I'd like to round the outcome of an investment
in a bond to the nearest thousand. E.g., when I have 100.000 to invest and
the quote is 102%, I can effectively invest 98.039. But as bonds can only be
traded at thousands the outcome should be rounded at 98.000. Does anyone have
a solution for this?

Kind regards,

Noepie

I know the subject says thousands Niek, but if you read the text, I am sure
that he actually means thousandths. I am certainly not aware of bonds being
traded at thousands!

First of all. Thanx for your reactions.

From both solutions the second one (with minus sign) is the one that gives
me the answer I am looking for. I think there is little confusion about the
fact that we in the Netherlands use a dot for thousands and a comma for
decimals and you (probably) do the reverse. Excuse me for that.

Kind regards,

Noepie
