rounding numbers

hi

i am using office XP. i want the cells to round down.
when the result of a calculation is 1.5 it marks 2 and i
want it to be 1. how can i do that?

Use ROUNDDOWN rather than ROUND.

another:

=ROUNDDOWN(A1,0)
