Rounding to nearest $500 or $1000 in Excel

Anyone know how to set a cell up to round automatically to the nearest $500
or $1000? [email protected]

=ROUND(A1,-3) For 1000s
=MROUND(A1,1000) For 1000s
=ROUND(A1*2,-3)/2 For 500s
=MROUND(A1,500) For 500s

MROUND requires Analysis Toolpak installed
