I think Window|Freeze panes will work.
Show the topleftcell that you always want to see (probably A1???).
Then select a column that is to the right of the columns you want to always see.
and select a cell in the row that is right below the rows you want to see.
So if you always want to see columns A:C and rows 1:3, you'd select D4.
Then window|freeze panes.
You may want to apply data|filter|autofilter, too. This can make finding things
much easier.
