Row height exactly-bug

Julie Mascara

I have a table that I want to force a row height of .5
When I set the "row height is" box to "exactly", the row
height of the cells is incorrect on the screen and the
text in the cells is not visible. However, the file prints
with the correct row height with text. Can anyone tell me
what is going on? I really need to see how the table will
look before I decide to print it.

Hi Julie,

You should try updating your graphics card driver, and maybe
your printer driver, as well.

I have updated the driver on my pc and have also brought
the file up on other Word 2000 pcs and the problem is the
same. On another note, if I bring the file up in Word 97
the space between the rows is gone and the objects inside
the cells have all moved to the top of the page; however,
the row height exact option works fine.

I have been trying to use tables and mail merge to create
custom labels and am about at the end of my ropes because
every option I use to solve a particular problem results
in another more complexing problem.

Can anyone HELP PLEASE?????????????? I really just want
to create a table with mergefields that stays the size I
specify. I have come so close, but am so far away.

Hi Julie,

Is the problem only with this one file?

If you create a table in a new document does it behave
correctly?
