row selection is too fast

Hi. When I try to select multiple rows and reach the
bottom of the database window to continue selecting
further down for more rows, the pointer passes that point
and suddenly the database rows start moving up way too
fast and the selection goes way past where I want to
stop. It is nearly impossible to wind up at the row I
need to be at to finish my selection. How do I slow down
the movement of the database rows when selecting them?

I assume you are selecting with the mouse...

Use the mouse to select the first row, then SHIFT and Page Down to select
additional rows.
