Hope you can help:
I use two machines to log into my account on my work exchange server.
Both use Outlook 2003 in cached mode and both they and the server are
set to NTLM authentication.
One machine is a tablet PC. After applying the registry fix
(icompatibility level to 2), the psave password checkbox appears and it
does indeed save the password - just I want it to do. My other home
machine runs XP Home but is, in all other repsects (proficle settings,
firewall etc) configured exactly as the tablet PC. On this machine
however, I never get to see the save password checkbox at all. I really
can't understand why save password works on the tablet PC but not on
the desktop. They are both using the same internet connection to
connect to the same account on the same exchange server! I've googled
endlessly but other than references to the registry fix, can find no
help. Any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation.
