RSS Feeds keep disappearing from Outlook 2007

I have a number of RSS feeds setup, and they seem to work intermittently.

For many weeks, I have seen individual feeds fail to work, then without user
input, start working again, then a few days later stop working. So Last night
I resolved to investigate further.

I Opened Tools >AccountSettings>RSS Feeds, and only a habdful of my approx
35 feeds were showing. So I visited each feed web site, and re-subscribed to
each one.

All updated quite happily, and I got updates from most (presumably the
others had nothing to update.)

This morning I got up, woke the computer and went to Tools
AccountSettings>RSS Feeds. There was 1 Feed listed.

If I look in the Mail folders pane in Outlook, select an individual feed and
then choose SEND/RECEIVE, then that individual feed wiil update, and
re-appear in the list of subscribed feeds at Tools >AccountSettings>RSS Feeds.

I have taken screen grabs of most of these stages if it will help explain,
and I can post these somewhere if it helps.

But I cannot understand why I am unable to keep a link to these feeds.
Incidentally, many of these feeds are to mainstream companies, such as BBC,
Adobe, Microsoft etc, so I have no reason to believe that the web sites
themselevs are going off line.

I 'm running Vista Home SP1 and all updates are installed. Office
12.0.6316.5000 SP1 MSO 12.0.6320.5000. I have Firewall up to date, I run
Virus up to date, and I run weekly Spyware checks. I use Spambayes within
Outlook.

Any help would be welcome. Thanks

Colin

Thanks, Ben.

Just one thing I want to point out, for people like me who might not have
thought about it — the link provided above actually leads to the page where
you can request the hotfix (it's not part of the normal Office Update set).
You have to sign in and have the file link sent to your e-mail.
