Can someone please tell me how the hell you backup -all- the data from
outlook 2003... And then restore it -completetly-
This seems to be impossible...
Upon restoring the files to their original locations, I have gotten
all sorts of errors... multiple links to the 'personal folders', rules
not being linked to the directories, address book being corrupt -
specifically outlook recognises two 'contact' address books one of
which cannot be deleted and causes an error.
Maniplulating the profile gets rid of the extra links to the one
'personal folders', but the contact problem eludes me.
[Rant]
I am thinking why does this expensive software not have a backup
option... and no that crap add-on they released is nothing more than a
..pst copy command. That does not 'backup' anything.
WHY FFS is there not an option to compact everything to a zip file ?
Why ?
[/Rant]
A step by step guide would be great [though I doubt one exists]
- Thanks guys
