ruel like in Express

I'm facing a problem in outlook. I have upgraded to
broadband and here starts the problem. My wife and I have
seperat email, but the same account. In Express it's
possible to make a filter that leaves my mails on the
server so my wife only downloads her own mails. In
outlook it seems like it's not possible to do this, is
this correct ? If not please help with a rule that can do
this.

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Outlook rules run on the mail client, not on the server.

To have the similar function, you can create 2 mail profiles in Outlook and
have each one check for the person's account name. Such as, [email protected]
goes to your mail profile, but notme@myisp goes to your spouse's profile.
Your mail will be separately maintained by the profile option.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Spike was correct. I misread your problem.

Outlook does not have the ability to selectively not download certain mail.
If you have separate addresses, you can create rules to move the mail into
separate folders, one for you and one for her. Not even using separate
profiles would help if you both download your mail from the same mailbox.
Is one of your addresses an alias of the other?
