Since Entourage won't keep HTML formatting when forwarding normally, is
there any way to specify "forward as attachment" within a rule?

No, but you can use the shortcut Control-Command-J.

Do you mean I can specify Control-Command-J within a rule? Would that
involve creating an Applescript and running Control-Command-J within that
script, and then running that script from the rule? If so, please help on
what to specify within the script since I've never created one. Thanks.

The shortcut Control-Command-J forwards the selected message. There is no
need for a rule.

Are you trying to forward a message that you have not seen? What you are
asking is not clear. We've not had anyone ask how to do this in a rule.

Entourage currently allows you to create a rule that will forward a
message matching certain conditions to a specified address. Kenneth is
asking of Forward As Attachment is also an option, which I believe it is
not.

My recommendation, especially if this is an Exchange server, is to
investigate handing the forwarding on the server side rather than then
client side. That way, not only can you do what you're trying to do, but
the rule will happen automatically instead of having to wait for
Entourage to Receive and then Send.

Your clarification is correct (forward automatically). I don't have Exchange
Server, just plain old home iMac. Thanks.

There is a "forward to" action but no "Forward as Attachment". Sorry.

Adam's idea may still work. Does your E-mail service provider offer web
access? If so, automatic forwarding is often an option you can set on
the server.
