rule to forward

When I make a rule to forward to an email adress it only works to an intern
(other people at my office) email adress and not to an extern (i.e. my home
email adress)..
Any suggestions?

By (secure) default automatic forwarding and replying to the Internet is
disabled on the Exchange server.
