As I said, rules have improved a great deal in the newer versions - Outlook
2000 does not have the option that Gordon mentioned. It only exists in
Outlook 2003.

After furious head scratching, Stephen Craft asked:
| I'm sorry, I'm using Outlook 2000. I looked for the Create New Rule
| thing after right-clicking on a sent item, but it's not there --
| maybe that's just an option in Office XP or something.
|
| This isn't a big deal, it's just that it seems like such a small
| thing, I dunno, it just seems that there should be some way to do it.

|||| Hello,
||||
|||| I am trying to set up an Outlook rule to automatically move all
|||| messages sent to a particular contact into a particular folder, and
|||| there does not seem to be a way to do it. There is a rule to move
|||| a *copy* of all sent messages, but then there is no way to
|||| automatically delete the original afterwards, and there's no rule
|||| just to move the original. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish
|||| this, or am I just S.O.L.?
||||
|||| Thank you,
|||| Stephen C.
