Rule won't work after activation

I've put in a rule to send a response message when I'm out
of town, but it won't send the message. The rule format
looks correct. Any ideas?

What version of Outlook? What account type? Do you leave Outlook open and
running while you're gone?

Using Outlook 2000, with Outlook left open and running.
Test messages are received, but no action taken.
