Rulers in Text boxes when slide copied from one presentation to an

I am programmatically copying slides from one presentation to another. The
rulers in all of the text boxes keep changing upon the move. If I change
the layout of the slide, it does nothing. Is there one thing I can do to
change them all back without changing each and every slide. This began when
I moved to Office 2007.
