I've recently moved from Outlook 2001 in OSX Classic to Entourage X.
I'm finding that the mail rules I created in Outlook to move new mail
into a specific folder still work... however Entourage will not detect
that new mail has arrived in that folder unless I click on it
manually.
What I have had to do is go back into Outlook and delete all the
rules, and then set up IMAP rules in Entourage.
The problem here is that Entourage HAS to be running in order to move
the emails that fit the rule into the specified folder. If I am home
and check my web-mail, everything appears in my inbox because the
rules are run by Entourage not on the Exchange server.
So, is there a way to have the rules on the exchange server (like what
Outlook 2002 used to do) and have Entourage check each folder for new
mail... rather than just new mail that arrives in the inbox?
