Rules don't take an immediate effect.

I have a rule that is supposed to move a message to Junk and mark it
read if it contains a string "out of the office" in the subject or the body.

But for some reason, even though the message is moved over, it is not
Marked as Read in the Junk Folder. What is the issue here?
