I am using Outlook 2002 (10.4608.4219)SP-2 and Windows XP. I have several
rules for when I send emails to certain people, copies are to be sent to a
specific folder.The problem is that the rules don't run unless I manually go
to the rules wizard and click on run now.
If I use the Rules Wizard, I can create a rule that moves a copy of the
email to a certain folder and that rule seems to work fine except I end up
with a copy in the specified folder and a copy in the "sent" file, so 2
copies on the machine. If I create a rule by right clicking on a message
and clicking on "rules" (not using the wizard), I can ask for the message
itself to be sent to a specific file (not a copy) but this rule does not run
automatically - only when I manually run it. Is there a way to get the
original message moved automatically?
