rules not working as expected

I have Outlook 2003. I have 5 e-mail accounts that are received by outlook
via pop3.
I have set up rules so that when e-mail is received from a specific account
it is moved into a specific folder. So far so good and all works well. I have
also set up a rule that if the word "[spam]" is in the subject (my e-mail
provider adds "[spam]" minus the quotes to mail it thinks is spam.) to move
it to the junk mail folder. The problem is that it seems to copy the spam
email to the junk folder instead of move it. I have checked the rules and
they are correct I have deleted them and recreated them but no luck. Any
thoughts?

Thank you

What's the text of the rule that seems to be malfunctioning? Try telling
it to Stop Processing More Rules as an extra action and see if that resolves
the issue.
