Rules to delete emails after a set time period?

Does anyone if a rule can be created to delete unread emails after a certain
amount of time - i.e email is unread for 3 hours, move to deleted folder.

Outlook runs rules on mail when it arrives. Any such behavior would require
programming. Please visit an Outlook programming forum.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, CFL asked:
