Rules Wizard

I'm having a little trouble setting up some rules for all outgoing
e-mail through a specific account. What I'm trying to do when sending
it through a specific account is to move NOT copy the message into its
appropriate Sent Items Folder. I've deleted all my Sent rules because
they were only making a duplicate of the e-mail. One in the "Sent
Items" and another in a subfloor lets call it "Sent Items Account 1"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, that won't work. That feature seems to be missing.
Along with the one that allows you to mark sent messages as "read".
(Of course they are read, I wrote the bloody stuff.)

You might get more help from the experts, but first tell then which
version you use as it makes a difference.

thanks, that solved the duplicate messages problem. However, I still would
like to make them read. It is annoying to have my own sent message as
unread. I was trying to add a 'perform custom action' to the rule that sents
it into the appropriate folder but there is nothing I can check there.
Apparently I have to write my own script to tick it read? Isn't there a
friendly soul out there who can provide us with one that does exactly that?

thanks

Marking your own messages as "Read" seems like a no brainer. Sadly,
Micros**t appears to have no brains.

There was an add on thingy at the excellent Slipstick site, but this
doesn't work with newer versions of Outlook.
