I have created a CD that autoruns a HTML page. I would like to use a link to
start a powerpoint presentation (2003). If I can I need to use the
powerpoint viewer, to retain the quality and view it full screen. I used the
powerpoint CD creation wizard, which creates a .bat file that launches the
player, and the presentation. If I could I would like to link to this file,
as that would work perfectly

Give it a try. If I'm picturing it correctly it should work. Just keep all of
the packaged files together as they were packaged. Then link from the HTML page
to the bat file. Let us know if it works.

No, if I do it that way all i get is a file download dialogbox, i have also
tryed to use a few scripts but i keep running in to IE's security settings.
It must be posible, just look at all the porn sites that put malware on you
PC. Is basicly the same thing, executeing a script from within IE

how do you mean use the command line. the bat file was automaticly generated
useing the "package for CD" wizard. The .bat file has only one line

@pptview.exe /L "playlist.txt"

batch files by nature run comands. Can you clarify what you mean
