Run Program Link

I can set a Hyperlink to run a program in my powerpoint, and everything is
ok...until I close the powerpoint. When I open it back up again, the link no
longer works. Instead I get a "Database Not Found" error.

How can I make this link work reliably?

Do you start the program with or without a file to open? The error "Database
not found" could be a hint that the program tries to open an file and cannot
find it.

It runs a simulation, there are no files involved. It should just start and
run.

Nevermind, I think it's an issue between Windows and the program, not
powerpoint. Thank you though.
