Run-time error with switchboard, can't find wizard, error when rep

At our small business we use a database that is accessed by two computers.
Historically the file has worked fine with both, but recently one of the
computers is having problems opening and running the file. I think that
Access setup might be corrupted?

Upon opening the file the switchboard should appear but instead there is a
Run-time error "430"-- "Class does not support Automation or does not support
extended interface." Upon hitting debug the problematic line is indeed in
the switchboard code which I have never edited. The line is:
Set con=Application.CurrentProject.Connection

I opened the file using SHIFT to look at the switchboard. When I select
Tools, Database Utilities, Switchboard Manager I get the following error:
"<name> can't find the wizard, or the wizard has not been installed, or
there is a syntax error in the Declarations section of a Visual Basic module.
The wizard you need..." It's quite long.
I think <name> is the windows user name. It's the name of our business not
the file name. The switchboard can be accessed fine with the file on other
computers.

There are no disabled items in HelpAbout.
When detecting and repairing Access on this computer I got the following
error "The instruction at '0x7714f81f' referenced memory at '0x7714f81f'.
The memory could not be 'read'."

I didn't want to uninstall all of office so I just did access. In
Add/Remove I unchecked Access to uninstall. Rebooted. Then using Add/Remove
again I reinstalled Access, and rebooted. The above problems still all
happen.

Are there some corrupt registry keys that aren't being reinstalled properly?
Which ones and can I manually delete them and then reinstall?
Any ideas? Thx!
