Run Word Macro from InfoPath's custom Document information pane

Here's the situation:

In WSS I've created a custom content type and created a custom document
template (including a macro called UpdateLogo).
Next I've created a custom document information pane with InfoPath.

I see that it's possible to add custom code to be run after the field has
been updated. Now my question is:

Can we somehow trigger the macro saved in Word from the task pane? (for
example when user changes the value of a dropdown list)
