Rundll error when configuring Outlook 2003 RPC over HTTP mode

Hi,

When we config outlook profile for exchange caching mode, at the screen
'exchange proxy settings' after we type the https url, change the proxy
settings to basic authentication and click ok, then the system prompted
rundll error
"An exceptin occurred while trying to run
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.d­ll,Control_RunDLL
"C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\System\M­SMAPI\1033\MLCFG32.CPL",@0"

We delete the profile & create a new profile, didn't help.

We also tried Detect and Repairing of Office 2003 installation and it didn't
help too.

The Windows XP is installed with Service Pack 1.

This is the first time we hit such problem & the rest of same make/model
computer didn't have such problem. Wondering what's wrong with it & how to
fix it?
