Running a 2002 PPT on Computers with 97, 95 or NO Powerpoint...

Abbie

Have created a complex presentation in Powerpoint 2002, to burn onto CDs for
anyone to be able to view on any computer.
But, the animations, timings etc are all wrong when viewed in 97 (even using
97 viewer which I've downloaded).
Is there something I can do so it will run without problems? It's over 100MB
in size. Any ideas?

Because of the differences in computer systems the presentation is going to run
differently regardless. You could level the playing field a little an create an
AutoRun CD see http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00037.htm

Bundle it with the 2003 PowerPoint Viewer. This should enable all to view
the presentation as intended. Download from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...27-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&DisplayLang=en

The viewer does have some limitations that may or may not apply to your
presentation, so be sure to test. The other issue is going to be, on
computer running that old of software usually indicates they have smaller
video cards, less ram, slower processors, etc. - all of which will affect
playback to some degree...
