I want to run an animation program from within Powerpoint and from a CD.
I have set up a Run Program from a mouse click which appears to start
the program correctly from the CD since it gives me the same prompts as
when I start the program directly from Windows Explorer. However, when
it needs to access the movie file, it says that it cannot find
C:\\MIDP\DP_0527.MMM There is no MIDP directory on my C: drive
and the program itself loads the above movie file from the CD when I run
the program itself from the CD. I suspect that Powerpoint may wish to
cache something but is not doing so. Has anybody else had this type of
problem. The computer is running Windows XP with a Trend Micro firewall
and virus checker.
