Running Access 2000 RunTime on Windows XP Pro SP 2

I had an access 2000 application running on Windows 2000 with Access 2000
runtime on the user machines. Some of the machines have now been upgraded to
Windows XP PRO SP2 and have been given an Access 2000 runtime. The
application doesn't start up with this configuration and shows an error on
the 'Autoexec' macro. If I install the full version of Access 2000 on the
user machines, the application runs just fine. The application file resides
on a central server and is shared by the users.

Any idea as to why Access 2000 runtime doesnt work on the Windows XP
machines ? Any help will be appreciated.
